Roberta Mollica is of counsel to Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato. She is a member of the Media department, where her practise focuses on consultancy and assistance in corporate law, copyright law, e-commerce and media regulation.
She has significant experience in advising clients on regulatory (including terrestrial, satellite and cable broadcasting, TV advertising, and the web, including their implications in the antitrust sector) and contractual issues (including e-commerce, product placement, sponsorship, advertising, event and concert organization, service contracts, etc,), in copyright law and image rights law (including purchase and licensing of copyright, film production, image release etc.).
She has assisted many TV broadcasting companies in negotiating audio-visual copyright concerning the soccer competitions organized by Lega Calcio Serie A and Lega Calcio Serie B as well as in negotiating the collecting societies’ licenses (e.g. SIAE, SCF and Nuovo Imaie's licenses).
In addition, she has assisted many TV broadcasters in the transition from analog television systems to digital, also developing institutional relationships with the relevant Italian Authorities.
Roberta won the TopLegal Awards 2017 as Rising Star Lawyer of the year.
