Michele Cicchetti is of counsel at the law firm Carnelutti studio legale associato. He is a member of the firm's banking & finance department, where his practice focuses on acquisition finance and general banking.
He advises major private equity investors and borrowers as well as international financial institutions in leveraged buyout transactions involving senior and mezzanine structures, as well as refinancing. Michele Cicchetti has also represented issuers or underwriters in a wide range of debt and equity capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked in Milan at a primary Top US law firm and at a magic circle UK law firm.
Michele Cicchetti obtained his law degree in 2000 from the University of Milan, and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2004.
He is a native Italian speaker, he is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of German.
