Deborah Russetti is of counsel to CARNELUTTI Law Firm. She is a member of the firm’s Corporate and M&A Department, where her practice focuses on international business law & arbitration. She specializes in commercial contractual law and she accrued a wide expertise in the field of litigation and arbitration of commercial and investment law disputes. She assists Italian and foreign companies in various industries, including real estate, energy, pharmaceuticals and information technology & communications preparing and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g., R&D contracts, agency, distribution, consultancy and joint-promotion agreements).
Deborah is Adjunct Professor of International Business Law and International Organizations at the Catholic University of Milan. She also lectures on the Master's in Economics and Management of International Trade at Catholic University of Milan (MEGSI) and on the Joint Master's between ASERI (Milan) and USI (Lugano) in Economics and International Policies. She was awarded her Ph.D in International Law and Economics by Bocconi University of Milan and she hold a magna summa cum laude degree in Law from the Catholic University of Milan where she was also awarded a Master's Degree in Markets and Institutions of the Global System at the Post Graduate School of Economics and International Relations.
She was also Visiting Scholar at the Columbia University School of Law in New York and the UNODC, Anti-Corruption Unit -Rule of Law Section-, in Vienna. She was admitted to the Italian Bar Association in 2006. Deborah speaks English and French, in addition to Italian.
