Davide Albonico is a partner in CARNELUTTI Law Firm. He is a member of the firm’s tax department. He is an “Italian dottore commercialista” chartered accountant, a tax expert and statutory auditor.
His practice focuses on advising foreign multinational groups (MNE), industrial and commercial companies, private clients (HNWI), innovative startups and financial institutions, regarding national and international tax compliance and consultancy (direct and indirect taxes), reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.
Davide also has wide experience in accounting (Italian and IFRS GAAP application), Transfer Pricing, permanent establishment, cross border transactions, and assist clients on corporate compliance, Law 231/2001, and in the main procedures to apply for tax benefits.
Davide's experience also includes tax disputes and the negotiation of settlements with the Italian tax authorities.
He is a member of the Italian Bar of Dottori Commercialisti and of the National Chartered Accountants & Tax Experts' Society, and he is also a member of CFE Tax Advisers Europe and International Fiscal Association - IFA Italia.
Davide is adjunct professor and lecturer in "Planning and tax and corporate consultancy" at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Milan-Bicocca, regularly writes on tax and corporate matters, ranked for 2021 and 2022 as tax expert in the “Legal 500”.
He holds board of directors, statutory auditors committee and supervisory body positions with several Italian and international private and pubic companies.
Davide speaks English and French, in addition to his native Italian.
